What Causes Change?
I believe change is caused by mixing or involving different things together. For example, if someone mixes the colors blue and yellow together it will cause both cause to change into green. So mixing two different things, in this case two different colors, had caused change. Another example of change occuring because of mixing things is when someone adds syrup to water. The water will become thinker but not quite as think as the syrup. So a change has occured because the new substance is different from the two original ones that were mixed together. An example of change occuring because something in involved with someone different is when a good kid is put into a bad crowd. The nice kid will pick up the bad crowds habits and change to accomadate his new surroundings. So in conclusion, change occurs because of mixing and involving different things together.

I think you were on the right track when you said change occurs because of mixing or involving different things together, but some of the examples you gave were only categories within the whole scheme of things and don't explain other changes like dominique's examples of if you push a ball it will roll or how her father got a new job which caused her family to move to Minnesota. There's got to be more to it than just what you said. Unless you think of mixing a ball with inertia, gravity, (etc.) but i'm not sure that's what you were trying to get at.
Alright I get what your saying with the actual change of the colors, people, and stuff my only thing is that what intially starts those changes you get what Im saying?
i can understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, but i don't think that you are correct. how could, for example, a rock rolling down a hill be involved with two objects mixing or involved.
I think your answer may be too specific. Such a broad question deserves a fairly broad answer. What causes the things to mix? Time? Energy? Yes, I believe mixing things does cause change, but where is the root cause of the mixing?

I agree to the highest with your points. I really liked your real life points. It's my opinion that what you said about putting a good kid into a crowd of bad people isn't completely true. I believe that this is the only occurs with a certain age (younger) or one who is a follower would be more seseptible to taking in these bad habit. On the other hand if someone is more independent or a "Rebel" than they should be somewhat ok, but I think that time is the main factor.
But how does mixing and involving different things make change occur? It doesnt just happen.
Yes ours our very a like. We have the same exact idea just different examples. I like your example using the kids and behavior.
ON what mandy said, the mixing and involving of things was all started by just one change that was created somehow that no one will probably ever know.
