The God Particle
The only thing i really understood about the article was the stuff about the atoms and the Star Wars Jedi thing. I kind of know about the Big Bang and the famous scientists like Einstein but everything else was new to me. I think it's kind of cool that we have such large and complicated machines beneath the surface that are able to get particles nearly to the speed of light. I don't really have an opinion on whether or not we should be spending billions of dollars on these machines but if you think about it a lot of inventions we use now everyday started from experiments that at the time were for the soul purpose of just learning more about the universe. I personally would have liked to learn about quarks and gluons because i like learning about how things function and why things work the way they do. On to the God Particle, i think that's a rather fitting title because the way it was described in the article it sounded like it basically is everywhere and interacts with everything. Sort of like how god is everyone and is all powerful. Whether we do or don't find the God Particle i think we'll be left with one of two questions either way. It'll either be "now what to we do with it?" or "if that's not the answer what is?".

i agree when we discover the particle i think we will be left with more questions than answers
